| Telemundo Comes to OKC Market! |
Telemundo has come to Oklahoma City! Telemundo is the second largest Spanish Television Network in the United States. Tyler Media, a locally owned media group which includes KKNG-FM Radio and KTUZ-FM La Zeta Radio, has finalized an agreement with the Telemundo Network which will place a full-powered Television station, KTUZ-TV Channel 30,Cox Cable Channel 5, is now on the air. Skip Stow, Tyler Media’s Market Manager, states, “The affiliation with Telemundo will allow us to provide Oklahoma’s growing Hispanic population with the best Network and Local programming, 24 hours per day, seven days per week”.
Ty Tyler, President of Tyler Media, states, “KTUZ-FM La Zeta has been so well received by listeners and advertisers that we felt like it was only natural to expand our reach with a premier Spanish Network like Telemundo. Our enhanced Hispanic platform, radio and television, will provide a one of a kind delivery for our listeners and viewers as well as advertisers needing to reach the very important Hispanic consumer”.
Skip Stow adds, “We plan on adding Local News, Weather and Public Affairs Programming for the Hispanic community in Central Oklahoma in early 2005”.
